— The Challenge

Where they were stuck.

Mercato had wholesale distribution and a loyal local following but treated Amazon as a side channel. Listings were keyword-thin, PPC was set-and-forget, and the brand was losing the buy box on its own SKUs to resellers undercutting on price.

  1. 01Re-enrolled Brand Registry, took back the buy box, and rebuilt listings around the search terms that actually drive conversion in the category.
  2. 02Restructured Sponsored Products + Brands campaigns around margin tiers; killed branded waste and reinvested in conquest terms.
  3. 03Built a Reels-led social motion featuring the founder and customers — the brand voice that already worked locally, now produced at weekly cadence.
  4. 04Layered Meta retargeting into the funnel — Amazon for purchase, Meta for awareness and consideration.
